Could you also avoid wrapping a point to a PCI device? Instead, wrap the
object type:

    #[repr(transparent)]
    pub struct Device(Opaque<bindings::pci_dev>);

    impl AlwaysRefCounted for Device {
        <put_device() and get_device() on ->dev>
    }
