Hi Mathias,
Would it make sense to rename the APIs and driver to something other than "sideband" so that users don't get confused with the audio sideband that is mentioned above by Thinh? How about using something like xhci-sec-intr to signify that this driver has APIs that will help support the use of xHCI secondary interrupters?
