If touch function is normal, the possible reason is timing issue.
After one touch input packet was read by THC, Touch FW deasserted the interrupt line with a very short delay, which causes THC hardware read again, but Touch FW didn't have data report, so give an all Zero packet.
In HID-over-I2c protocol, the first two bytes be zero means device reset.

Just guess, need a device on hand to probe bus waveform for confirmation.
