Would it be possible to partial-apply just this patch? Or should I maybe 
resubmit it alone? The patches in this "series" are not really related 
after all.

I'm trying to pick this up again, now having left Prolan, and it would 
be great if I could grep through linux-next to see which patches did not 
receive an Ack yet.
