Yeah, any rename (or generally namespace/path change) is always
painful due to the flag day change, and thus ideally best avoided if
there is a practical way to do so (e.g. keeping the old name for a
while).

And, yeah, treewide changes generally need Acked-by's from the
relevant maintainers.
