I have no strong feelings about this.

If it is really more of an internal ICU thingy, an alternative would
be to remove all public *_ICU_DMAC_REQ_NO_DEFAULT definitions, and
just pass -1.  Then the ICU drivers become responsible for filling in
the appropriate default value.
