Subject: WAN patches

Hi,

Now that hdlc_ppp is the only remaining user of syncppp we can kill
the latter I guess:

WAN: new synchronous PPP implementation for generic HDLC.
WAN: syncppp.c is no longer used by any kernel code. Remove it.

Please do not apply yet.

#1: WAN: new synchronous PPP implementation for generic HDLC.

 Generic HDLC layer currently supports:
-1. Frame Relay (ANSI, CCITT, Cisco and no LMI).

    - Normal (routed) and Ethernet-bridged (Ethernet device emulation)
interfaces can share a single PVC.

experimental InARP user-space daemon available on:

-2. raw HDLC - either IP (IPv4) interface or Ethernet device emulation.
