If I understand the problem correctly, e100 sometimes doesn't proble
successfully after kexec if it was put into D3 before. If that's really the
case, I don't think it's related to wake-up at all. The very same issue has
been obseverd for some other devices and I don't think we know the root cause
of it. Still, the solution seems to be not to put devices into D3 on shutdown
unless we're going to power off the entire system.

This may be unrelated to the probing of PCI devices or at least not directly
related to it. There may be something we need to do to the host bridge or
generally to the chipset for things to actually work.

The race need not be in there.
