I should stop writing mails as I get to easily distracted right now:

... goes over the device 2, the next 5 packets goes over device 3 and the next 
5 packets goes over device 1, ...

Maybe other things like "5 over device one, 10 over device 2, 2 over device 3" 
could be imagined.
