Sorry for the delay on this.

I am attaching the qemu changes. Some parts of the patch are
completely redundant, eg MAX_TUN_DEVICES and I will remove it
later.

It works with latest qemu and the kernel patch sent earlier.

Please let me know if there are any issues.
