Subject: atl2: NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0 (atl2): transmit queue 0 timed out

Dear Linux folks,

using the ASUS Eee PC 701 4G, I experienced the first time, that I had
problems with an Ethernet connection. It was in a cooperate network
using a lot of switches and other gear I suppose. Though I do not know
the details and it should not matter. The laptop even locked up after a
while and had to be reset, but I do not have a backtrace for that.

Debian Sid/unstable is used on the system and I only now found time to
report it. Should I open a bug in Linux’ Bugzilla about that or is it
not enough information. In the latter case I do not have access to the
network anymore, so testing/debugging would be difficult.

Thanks,

Paul
