I was following the netdev documentation (https://www.kernel.org/doc/
Documentation/networking/netdev-FAQ.txt) and so I checked your patchwork queue 
here
http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/bundle/davem/stable/?state=*

along with GregKHs stable queue for 4.15 as well as pulling his latest 
linux-4.15.y stable and saw no sign of it. And somehow I see no sign of this 
patch. Sorry if I am missing it somehow.
