That seems kind of uncalled for, don't you think? But I guess I'll
take the bait: this is very much not the only thing I've been working
on, far from it in fact. There was a small window between Linus
committing the 100 column patch and net-next closing, so I took a
break from other things to make sure this at least had a shot. Turns
out that the backporting concern was paramount, which is completely
understandable, and now I'll continue on my way working on the stuff
that I resumed last night after sending this patch.
