Hey! Thanks for copying me on this report. I've added myself to the CC
and I'll file an internal bug to get attention to the issue.

FWIW, I haven't heard anything about a known issue like this, nor has
the lead (Aleksander Loktionov) of i40e. So at this point we just need
to investigate.

I've also asked the reporter for some extra info in the Bugzilla.
