100mbit support _is_ detected by default on load (see code below). The 
module option is only there as an override.

PCMCIA 100mbit support is equivalent to 16 bit IO supported by the card. 
You might argue a sysfs option belongs in the built-in Amiga PCMCIA 
support code, instead of the card driver even though this is about a 
card feature. We had discussed this earlier and gone for the module 
parameter. I'll discuss this with Geert again.
