You're right. This logic should be in config_init() to ensure it's
reapplied after suspend/resume.
I’ll move it there and remove the probe() implementation, since it's
no longer needed.

Got it, I’ll drop config_aneg, read_status, suspend, and resume,
as the defaults cover these cases correctly.
