Since the internet existed more than ten years before Al was even a senator
he could not have taken any initiative at all in it.  Al Gore was still
in College when the internet was created.

Funny, you quote the "urban legend" pretty accurately.

Just mention the whole subject in private to Vince Cerf, who really DID help
invent the internet and he gets a bit steamed.  If that statement
offends Mr. Cerf then it should offend you.
