The solution to folks pimping their websites through lists is to 
obfuscate the URL when doing a "reply" .. eg:

>> http://blogs.shamelesslyplugged.com/index.php/archives/182

Or better yet, don't include the URL at all when replying, only use the 
relevent bits of the original message.
