Subject: www.securityfocus.com / www.iss.net DOWN?

mail.securityfocus.com is down, too.

Earlier this month, a SecurityFocus employee admitted they sometimes
disconnect from the Internet as a protective measure when new exploits come
to light. Their absence may indicate the release of a dangerous new
exploit. I therefore urge everyone to disconnect from the Internet as a
precaution and wait for the media to give you an all-clear signal. Better
safe than sorry...
