Message-ID: <037401c31991$db3df950$1d01320a@drizzt> From: nexus at patrol.i-way.co.uk (Nexus) Subject: *****SPAM***** Fwd: this address is no longer available ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vision Through Sound" <echolation@...hmail.com> [snip] > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > Here is an example of the heavy-handed attempts to filter spam that unreliably > work, or make matters worse. > [snip] Have had three of these and I am about to get another - the filter is not spam related - any email posted to the list will be sent to Tor's SUBSCRIBED email address (funny thing about mailing lists y'know...) and the sender gets one of these. Especially nice is the threat that your email address get's added to some spam database purely because someone can't unsub from a list. Have sent a gentle comment to postmaster@...us.net and the whois contact and hopefully they won't get lost in those crinkly and fiddly bits of the fjords. Cheers. [huuuuuuuuuuuuuge snip]
