Message-ID: <s05f5cfb.093@LPPS-GWN1.njsp.org> From: lppcolemi at gw.njsp.org (MICHAEL coles) Subject: viruses being sent to this list Dookie, There is a very fine line between uber-troll and not understanding the topic. What makes you think that your email wasn't found on one of the resting places for this mailing list? You name appears over three hundred times according to google.com when searching for "full disclosure". http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=ge%40egotistical.reprehensible.net%3E+%22full+disclosure%22&btnG=Google+Search You weren't targetted, just unlucky. There is not much the mods can do. Want them to request that your email addresses be removed from all search engines and private mailing lists around? Mike Coles >>> Gadi Evron <ge@...tistical.reprehensible.net> 03/22/04 7:11 PM >>> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 | Sure, if it is spread with intent to harm, which a virus/worm can easily | be argued to be doing when it propigates. |My intention was not to start a discussion, but as this is an open list and I caused it, I will now participate until we hear word from higher plains of existence (i.e. list managers). We can go into an endless discussion on liability. As FD is being used to spread malware, repeatedly, and filtering that malware is a matter of responsibility.. One would think the FD managers would do something about this. This is not about the infected user, the VX'ers, or the ISP's. It is about this particular forum being used to spread malware for a while now. It is time the managers, who have so far showed to be logical and responsible people, to take action and do what must be done. _______________________________________________ Full-Disclosure - We believe in it.
