Subject: Hacker Halfway House

hi,

a friend pointed the post about the hhh out to me. i've subscribed to
the list just to post this, and will be unsubscribing afterwards, so if
you need to reach me please do it via email.

maybe you've got the wrong impression of the hacker halfway house, but
we're not a hostel or the like to house anyone in the computer security
field for free/cheap. we know a lot of people, a lot of people crash on
our couches, hence one reason for the name. but the place is a loft
apartment, people (myself included) live here. i'm not trying to be
snarky here, it just is a little disconcerting when you find your place
being talked about and advertised like a hostel on a LARGE mailing list.

i'm just curious-- who is the friend who made the suggestion, and where
did (s)he get the info from?

anyways, that's all. if you'd like more info about the hhh, or these
random emails passing over the list have made you curious, feel free to
contact me via email.
