I think his "agenda" was to make the guys who support the war actually
go on record as supporting the war, and the guys who do not support
it, to grow a backbone and actually vote otherwise.

Whether you agree with his reasons for doing this, you have to admit
its nice when you know whether people are just playing both sides, or
actually believe in what they say..
