Haven't checked suspend-to-ram.
I use pm-hibernate or 
"echo reboot > /sys/power/disk; echo disk > /sys/power/state".
Thats software-suspend?
I think the wait is caused by an interrupt starting somewhere under
sysdev_resume(void).
possibly lapic timer interrupt? Will try to trace that.
2.6.20-rc6-rt6 .config attached.
Machine is AMD64 UP, VIA chipset desktop.
