Have you tried any other -mm? Also, does it help if you stick

	ps2_command(&psmouse->ps2dev, NULL, PSMOUSE_CMD_SETSTREAM);

at the very beginning of psmouse_initialize() in
drivers/input/mouse/psmouse-base.c?
