Probably we better write it this way:

- obj-$(CONFIG_SMP)              += smpboot.o tsc_sync.o
- obj-$(CONFIG_X86_64_SMP)       += tsc_sync.o

+ obj-$(CONFIG_SMP)              += smpboot.o
+ obj-$(CONFIG_SMP)              += tsc_sync.o

I guess this would be cleaner? Ingo?
