So the 16329MB is the total amount reported as usable by the BIOS, 
(that's the 16721316K number) so I don't think there's any issue with 
the memory sizing. I'm a bit confused about what the reserved size 
actually consists of, but I suspect that may just be all of the kernel's 
memory allocations (page tables, slab allocations, etc.) as well as the 
kernel code and static data.
