Subject: checkpatch: should it count the number of ^---$?

Now with the correct E-mail for lkml...

I sent a patch* that broke some script handling the patch because the
commit message has a line that was exactly ---. Should checkpatch
count the number of lines with something like ^---$ and warn if this
number is greater than 1?
