Subject: Re: [PATCH 1/4] MSR: Prep for separating msr.c into three files
Hi Marty,
[auto build test ERROR on tip/x86/core]
[also build test ERROR on v4.5-rc5 next-20160225]
[if your patch is applied to the wrong git tree, please drop us a note to help improving the system]

reproduce:
# save the attached .config to linux build tree
make ARCH=x86_64
Note: the linux-review/Marty-McFadden/MSR-MSR-MSR-Whitelist-and-Batch-Introduction/20160226-081635 HEAD b22b3d52ac438a7130196d7bec9ad8af70073ede builds fine.
It only hurts bisectibility.
All errors (new ones prefixed by >>):
>> make[3]: *** No rule to make target 'arch/x86/kernel/msr.c', needed by 'arch/x86/kernel/msr.o'.
make[3]: Target '__build' not remade because of errors.
