Looking at the fact that preset is rather device specific, I'd be tempted to
not put it info_mask yet, but keep it as an ext_info element until we
get a feel for how it is used in more devices.
Good docs on the whole.
This new ABI was always going to take a few rounds to
come to an agreement!
