Okay, interestingly checkpatch did not complain.

Yea makes sense, already thought about it, but then decided against it for the first comversion.

Okay, which analyzer has trouble with that?
I ran Wolfram's ninja-check against it (sparse, smatch, coccinelle etc...) and didn't see any issues.
