The commit title of [PATCH 1/2] starts with "media: Revert..." and
[PATCH 2/2] starts with "Revert...", not sure if this is relevant.

I've applied this changes at media-master and `test-media vimc` (from
v4l-utils) got 0 errors and 0 warnings. I've also tested with qv4l2, and
the streaming went as expected for all capture devices.
