If it's just a case of unresponsive maintainer, we can take over with the
drm-misc group maintained fallback in drm. Still need someone to
review/ack patches ofc, but usually there's room for that in the drm-misc
group.

Yup that was one part. Maybe ping on that thread, if Mihail still is
interested in this you could cross-review each another's stuff and then
land it in drm-misc.

Hm I was pretty sure it (series to convert to armada) existed by someone,
but I can't find it anymore. Anyway if all we need is to remove a bunch
of stuff, then even better.
