a few remarks down below, but beside those, while testing this series on
a JUNO board (so lacking any GYRO/ACCEL sensor, a limited test case for
now) I spotted that you missed in this series to add a matching device
to the SCMI core. (as spotted by Jonathan too in his v4 review)
In other words in your actual codebase you should have something like

Given that this driver only handles multi-axes sensors of GYRO/ACCEL type,
maybe here it would make sense to explicitly check also sensor_info->type to be
of compatible type, similar to what you do already later against axes[0].type in
scmi_alloc_iiodev()->scmi_iio_get_chan_type(): this way you can just skip a
non-compatible (NON gyro or accel) multi-axes sensor here, without going further
into scmi_alloc_iiodev().
Moreover, as it now, if you'd happen to receive from the SCMI core enumeration
a list of sensors which includes some non-compatible multi-axes sensor you'd
fail scmi_iio_get_chan_type() with -EINVAL and so insead of skipping such an
unsupported sensor you'll end up failing the whole probe even though maybe some
other supported sensors were indeed present in the list.
(not sure this reasoning is consistent with what Jonathan said about
returning a -ENODEV here when sensor is not handled..I'll add a comment
on that other thread too)
