The idea was to remove parentheses that were made unnecessary by the
removal of true and false comparisons.  For example, if ((x == true) || (y
== false)) should become if (x || !y), not if ((x) || (!y)).

If you want to remove all unnecessary parentheses (definittely useful)
that should be in a separate patch in a patch series.
