If other code means drivers in tree, then yes.
Examples are drivers/usb/storage/usb.c, usbtmc.c, synaptics_usb.c,
vub300.c, zd_usb.c, usb-skeleton.c, etc.

I'll check the Alan's suggestion and will try to implement that.
