I just remembered that you can't return an error from .get_modes, it
should only return the number of modes added. From doc:
* RETURNS:

* The number of modes added by calling drm_mode_probed_add().
See also the use of count in drm_helper_probe_single_connector_modes().
Patch 14 and 22 has the same issue.
