The new warning seems to happen no matter what the order
in some cases e.g.

$ perf record -e branch-misses//u -e cycles:u  -- uname
WARNING: events were regrouped to match PMUs
Linux
[ perf record: Woken up 1 times to write data ]
[ perf record: Captured and wrote 0.004 MB perf.data (11 samples) ]

$ perf record -e cycles:u -e branch-misses//u -- uname
WARNING: events were regrouped to match PMUs
Linux
[ perf record: Woken up 1 times to write data ]
[ perf record: Captured and wrote 0.005 MB perf.data (16 samples) ]
