Please find link to a patch that addresses the above reported warning: 
https://lore.kernel.org/linuxppc-dev/20221215115258.80810-1-sv@linux.ibm.com/. 
This patch still applies cleanly atop powerpc/merge branch and I don't 
see the warning anymore.
