This needs to be reserved in include/uapi/linux/v4l2-controls.h.

Parentheses around the expression, and spaces around '+'.

Add a THP7312_ prefix to avoid namespace clashes.

Use ARRAY_SIZE(thp7312_colour_fmts) directly in the code, this hinders
readability.

Do we need this enum, or could we use the fps directly as a number in
the code ?

Can you use the newly merged CCI helpers ?

Given that the colorspace is always V4L2_COLORSPACE_SRGB, I think you
can hardcode it in thp7312_try_fmt_internal() and drop it from
thp7312_datafmt. The structure would then have a single field, so you
can replace it with a u32 in this array.

static const. Same below.

These two fields areconstant for all modes, you can hardcode them in
thp7312_change_mode().

Did you run checkpatch ? I would have expected it to warn about tabs at
the end of the lines. There are lots of them through the file, as well
as spaces at end of lines.

Use the subdev active state API instead of storing the active format
here. This implies implementing .init_cfg() and calling
v4l2_subdev_init_finalize().

I think it would make sense to power off on failure. The caller won't
retry.

It looks like grouping V4L2_CID_FOCUS_AUTO and V4L2_CID_FOCUS_ABSOLUTE
in a cluster could simplify this a lot.

I think you can drop this error message, as well as the messages below,
as thp7312_write_reg() prints an error.

Would it be useful to cache the register value in the isp_dev structure,
to avoid reading it back ? Or perhaps better, group the
V4L2_CID_THINE_NOISE_REDUCTION_AUTO and
V4L2_CID_THINE_NOISE_REDUCTION_ABSOLUTE controls in a cluster, and write
THP7312_REG_NOISE_REDUCTION once based on the value of both controls.

Custom controls should be documented. I this will help discussing
whether or not some of the custom controls can be standardized.

I'd skip this here, as you should power off the device at the end of the
probe() function. You need to call v4l2_ctrl_handler_setup() when you
start streaming.

This should go through .init_cfg().

Should you validate num_data_lanes ?

That looks like a debugging leftover.

What needs to be fixed ?

What does this mean ?

The structure is kzalloc'ed, so you could skip this.

dev_dbg()

Move this to thp7312_init_controls().

PM runtime needs to be initialized before registering the async subdev,
as it could be acquired by the consumer before
v4l2_async_register_subdev() returns.

You're ending probe with the device powered on. Is this on purpose ?

Another debugging leftover ?

Spaces.

This device can't be instantiated on non-DT systems, so I'd drop the
i2c_device_id table.

No MODULE_AUTHOR() ?
