my gcc 10.2.1 doesn't like the declaration here:

/local/tbogendoerfer/korg/linux/arch/mips/kernel/smp-bmips.c:630:3: error: a label can only be part of a statement and a declaration is not a statement
  630 |   u32 rac_addr = BMIPS_RAC_CONFIG_1;

Crap can work. Given enough thrust pigs will fly, but it's not necessarily a
good idea.                                                [ RFC1925, 2.3 ]
