I agree, but for the v2 I will not move anything outside vkms_output. It
will be a future patch, maybe in the extract header series or
vkms_config/configfs.

I did not introduce new calls to those functions, just the test about the
result of drm_mode_crtc_set_gamma_size that can fail. I will extract this
to an other patch.

I don't think this is needed, this function can only be called once
drmm_add_action_or_reset, which is after the call to
alloc_ordered_workqueue, so I think the situation described in
2fe2a8f40c21 is impossible now. I can leave a comment before this
destroy_workqueue if you think this could cause an issue.

Because this is related to a specific device, I think using DRM_DEV_*
would be better. When we introduce ConfigFS, the userspace might be able
to break things, so tracking which device failed can be helpful.
