I can modify 
Documentation/devicetree/bindings/pinctrl/amlogic,meson-pinctrl-common.yaml 
file
change
         "#gpio-cells":
           const: 2
to
         "#gpio-cells":
           enum: [2, 3]

  and make it to compatible with subsequent ones. Do you feel OK?
