This re-introduces a mistake already fixed with commit 329ca3eed4a9
("spi: atmel-quadspi: Avoid overwriting delay register settings") for
v6.12. Probably by copy and paste from an older version?
What is done in your code: the shadow copy of the MR register (aq->mr)
is not tested for the single flag QSPI_MR_SMM, and only the flag
updated, but you write two flags to the register and update the
shadow copy with only one flag, without considering the actual
register content, and thus overwriting any other things set in that
register in other places.
