Subject: [PATCH RESEND] lib: parser: Fix match_wildcard to correctly handle
 trailing stars

This fixes a bug of match_wildcard that incorrectly handles trailing
asterisks. For example, `match_wildcard("abc**", "abc")` must return
true, but it returns false.
