It seems Gitlab doesn't allow anonymous access via SSH, so yeah, you'd
need an account to clone the link I shared.
For now you should be able to clone via HTTPS:

  git clone https://gitlab.com/glemco/linux.git -b rv-6.17-rc7

But I'll try and get a repository up and running on kernel.org for the
next time.
