You are right. Using 256 IDs per bank creates a sparse ID map with unnecessary holes.
We plan to change the stride to 32 (<< 5). With this change, nr_resets will simply
be num_banks * 32.

Yes, for banks with write_en, the hardware layout uses 2 bits per control (Bit N for

As mentioned above, by changing the shift to 5, nr_resets becomes num_banks * 32.
Since the mapping becomes linear, We believe of_reset_simple_xlate is still suitable.
