Won't it be better to change types of interruptTransmit, -Receive and
-Error
in  struct gfar_priv_grp itself. Something like this:

struct gfar_priv_grp {
....
-	unsigned int interruptTransmit;
-	unsigned int interruptReceive;
-	unsigned int interruptError;

+	unsigned int interruptTransmit;
+	unsigned int interruptReceive;
+	unsigned int interruptError;
....
}
