Good catch. It will pass ATM only because 'unevaluatedProperties' is not 
yet implemented (should be in place soon). So it needs:

mdio:
  $ref: /schemas/net/mdio.yaml#
  unevaluatedProperties: false

Otherwise, this looks fine.
