Message-ID: <848AC18579DA9F4BB0BD181EEDDB519E26623A@kserver.kiandra.local> From: Zach.Forsyth at kiandra.com (Zach Forsyth) Subject: Firewalls Yes - I love running hardware firewall between me and other work colleagues. Just plonk the laptop down on the desk next to the ageing 386 bsd box firewalling me from the corp network. Then when I go out to a clients, I take the bsd box along as well. Then when I travel somewhere I take the bsd box and plug it into the hotel's network. They don't mind the extra power costs. I am sure you realise there is a place for software as well as hardware firewalls. Personally I don't mind sygate pfp for duties on my laptop. Seems to do the job pretty well.
